How to Whitelist Salad in Qihoo-360

1. Open Qihoo-360

Navigate in your internet browser to www.salad.com/download and re-download the installation .exe, and when the installation finishes, be sure to uncheck the “Run Salad” checkbox.

2. Navigate to Settings

To access the settings of Qihoo-360, select the three little lines icon just beside the little shirt icon situated on the top of the main screen and click ‘Settings’.

3. Click on 'Trust List'

After you have clicked on ‘Setup’ you will be presented with your antivirus protection settings. From there, select ‘Trust List’’ as pictured below

4. Click on 'Add Directory'

After you have clicked on ‘Trust List’ you will be presented with a list of your exclusions. From there, select ‘Add Directory’ as pictured below

5. Add Salad as an Exclusion

After you have clicked on ‘Add Directory’, you will be presented with a new window. And on that Window, you’ll want to navigate to the Salad miner folder and select it, the path for this is “C:\ProgramData\Salad\workloads” and click ‘Ok’.

9. Click Ok

Once you’ve found your Salad miner folder and clicked it, hit ‘Save’, and it will bring you back to the main Qihoo-360 Exclusion whitelist page with your newly added exclusions.

10 Run Salad

Open your Salad widget and click the play button. Contact support here if this issue persists.
