How to Whitelist Salad in Advanced SystemCare Ultimate

1. Open ASC

This will be the main screen you are presented within ASC, and is your base of virus-fighting operations.

2. Navigate to settings

To access the antivirus settings of ASC, press the three little lines situated on the top-left-corner of the main screen. From there, select ‘Antivirus Settings’ situated on the very top from the drop-down list.

3. Click on 'Whitelist'

After you have navigated to your Antivirus settings, you will be presented with some settings related to your antivirus. From those settings, find and click on ‘Whitelist’ as pictured below.

4. Adding an Exclusion

After you have found and clicked on ‘Whitelist’, you will be presented with your ASC’s exclusion list. From there, select ‘Add a folder’ situated on the bottom right of the screen.

5. Adding Salad as an Exclusion

After clicking on ‘Add a folder’, you’ll want to navigate to the Salad miner folder and select it, the path for this is “C:\ProgramData\Salad\workloads” and click ‘Ok’

6. Click Apply

Once you’ve found your Salad installation and clicked it, hit ‘Ok’, and it will bring you back to the main ASC Exclusion whitelist page with your newly added exclusions. After that, make sure you click ‘Apply’ situated on the bottom-right-corner to confirm the exclusion.

7. Run Salad

Open your Salad widget and click the play button. Contact support here if this issue persists
