1. Uninstall Salad
Uninstall Salad and all of its associated files and folders
2. Restart your computer
This will finalize the uninstallation of Salad, as it does with most programs that require drivers to run.
3. Reinstall Salad
Navigate in your internet browser to www.salad.io and re-download the installation .exe, and when the installation finishes, be sure to uncheck the “Run Salad” checkbox.
4. Open SecureAge
This will be the main screen you are presented within SecureAPlus, and is your base of virus-fighting operations.
5. Navigate to Settings
To access your settings in SecureAPlus, click on ‘App Settings’ beside ‘Home’ in the bottom-left-corner of your main screen.
6. Click on 'Scan Settings'
After you have clicked on ‘App Settings’, you will be presented with a new window which will show your Antivirus settings. From there, select ‘Scan Settings’ just under ‘Universal AV’ on the bottom left.
7. Click on Exclusions
After you have clicked ‘Scan Settings’, you will be presented with your Antivirus scanning settings. From there, select the ‘Exclusions’ tab.
8. Click 'Add Folder'
After you have selected the ‘Exclusions’ tab, you will be presented with your exclusions options. From there, select the ‘Add Folder’ option.
9. Adding Salad as Exclusion
After clicking on ‘Add Folder’, you’ll want to navigate to the Salad installation folder and select it, the default installation path is “C:\Users\YourUserHere\AppData\Roaming\Salad” and click ‘Choose’
10. Click Choose
Once you’ve found your Salad installation folder along with your ethminer folder and clicked it, hit ‘Open’, and it will bring you back to the main SecureAPlus Exclusion whitelist page with your newly added exclusions
11. Run Salad
Let Salad run for at least 30 minutes after setting up the whitelist. Contact support if this issue persists.
