How to Whitelist Salad in SecureAge APEX

1. Open SecureAge

This will be the main screen you are presented within SecureAPlus, and is your base of virus-fighting operations.

2. Navigate to Settings

To access your settings in SecureAPlus, click on ‘App Settings’ beside ‘Home’ in the bottom-left-corner of your main screen.

3. Click on 'Scan Settings'

After you have clicked on ‘App Settings’, you will be presented with a new window which will show your Antivirus settings. From there, select ‘Scan Settings’ just under ‘Universal AV’ on the bottom left.

4. Click on Exclusions

After you have clicked ‘Scan Settings’, you will be presented with your Antivirus scanning settings. From there, select the ‘Exclusions’ tab.

5. Click 'Add Folder'

After you have selected the ‘Exclusions’ tab, you will be presented with your exclusions options. From there, select the ‘Add Folder’ option.

6. Adding Salad as Exclusion

After clicking on ‘Add Folder’, you’ll want to navigate to the Salad miner folder and select it, the path for this is “C:\ProgramData\Salad\workloads” and click ‘Choose’

7. Click Choose

Once you’ve found your Salad installation folder along with your ethminer folder and clicked it, hit ‘Open’, and it will bring you back to the main SecureAPlus Exclusion whitelist page with your newly added exclusions

8. Run Salad

Open your Salad widget and click the play button. Contact support here if this issue persists.
