How to Whitelist Salad in Comodo

1. Open Comodo

This will be the main screen you are presented within Comodo and is your base of virus-fighting operations.

2. Navigate to Settings

To access the settings of Comodo, you’ll want to click on the little gear button situated in the top of the main screen just beside ‘Tasks’.

3. Navigate to Exclusion Settings

After navigating to settings, you will see some settings related to your AV. From those tabs, click on ‘Advanced Protection’ and a drop-down list will appear. From that list, click on ‘Scan Exclusions’.

4. Adding an Exclusion

After you have navigated to the ‘Scan Exclusion’ setting, your exclusion list will appear. From there, click on ‘Add’ then select ‘Folders’ to add an exclusion.

5. Adding Salad as an exception

After you have clicked ‘Add’ and selected ‘Folder’, a new window will appear. In that window, you’ll want to navigate to the Salad miner  folder and select it, the path for this is “C:\ProgramData\Salad\workloads” and click ‘Ok’.

6. Click 'OK'

Once you’ve found your Salad miner folder and selected it, hit ‘Ok’, and it will bring you back to the main Comodo exclusion page with your newly added exclusion. Make sure to click ‘Ok’ on there again.

7. Run Salad

Open your Salad widget and click the play button. Contact support here if this issue persists
