How to Whitelist Salad in Panda

1. Open Panda

This will be the main screen you are presented within Panda, and is your base of virus-fighting operations.

2. Navigate to the Menu

To find the Panda Menu, click on that little Shield icon on the middle.

After clicking on the ‘AntiVirus’ icon, you will be greeted with a window which will show your antivirus stats. From there, click on the little gear situated on the upper left corner.

4. Click on ‘Antivirus’

After clicking on the little gear on the upper-left-corner of the menu, you will be navigated to Panda’s antivirus settings. From there, select the ‘Antivirus’ setting.

5. Click Exclusions

After clicking on the ‘Antivirus’ settings, you will not see the Exclusions setting at first. You will have to scroll down a little to find it.

6. Click on ‘Add’

After you have found the ‘Exclusions’ area, click on the ‘Add’ button and you will see this window-

7. Adding Salad as an Exclusion

In that window, you’ll want to find the Salad miner folder and select it, the path for this is “C:\ProgramData\Salad\workloads” (without the quotations) and click ‘Ok’

8. Click OK

Once you’ve found your Salad installation folder and clicked it, hit OK, and it will bring you back to the main Panda Exclusions whitelist page with your newly added exclusion.

9. Run Salad

LOpen your Salad widget and click the play button. Contact support here if this issue persists
