8. Adding Salad as an Exclusion
After clicking on ‘Add file’, you’ll want to navigate to the Salad installation folder and select it, the default installation path is “C:\Users\YourUserHere\AppData\Roaming\Salad” and from that folder, select any .exe files and click ‘Open’. As McAfee doesn’t support folder exclusion you will need to add any file that has .exe as an exclusion.
9. Click Add
Once you’ve found your Salad installation folder along with the .exe files and clicked it, hit ‘Open’, and it will bring you back to the main McAfee Exclusion whitelist page with your newly added exclusions. Repeat this process for all remaining files.
10 . Run Salad
Let Salad run for at least 30 minutes after setting up the whitelist. Contact support if this issue persists
