What's an LHR GPU?

If you're lucky enough to own one of NVIDIA's latest GPUs, there's a chance you may have heard the term "LHR" in reference to your shiny new RTX 3000 GPU. "LHR" stands for Lite Hash Rate, and it was an artificial hardware lock on the hashrate for some algorithms on many RTX 3000 GPU models. Thankfully, recent NVIDIA driver updates completely removed this LHR lock, and all affected GPUs now are able to chop at full speed with no additional modifications or changes.

Simply ensure you are up to date on the latest NVIDIA drivers from either your GeForce Experience app, or downloaded directly from the official NVIDIA driver website.
